FAQ

We do care about your stay that is why we assist our clients from the beginning to the end.

1. In order to book a room with us you need to pay a non-refundable holding Deposit of £150.00 which is deducted from your moving in monies

2.  When the contract starts, you need to pay:

  • First month rent
  • 5 weeks deposit
  • No Agency fee
  • No Security deposit

3. You need to provide a Passport (+VISA if applicable)

4. Monthly rent is payable 7 days in advance of each monthly rental period

The fees are non-refundable.

Please be aware that costs associated with international transfers to us must be borne by the client. This works out at £6 for a transfer to us and £5 to £25 for a deposit refund transfer to you.

We advise international clients to open a UK Bank account or use other transfer methods such as TransferWise or Revolute to reduce costs incurred for transfers to us.

We do require a copy of a document which will prove your identity (Passport or ID). If you are from Non-UK country we will ask for a copy of your Visa alongside your passport.

We accept cash and bank transfers. All the transfers must reach our account before we can release the keys for you. For international transfers we therefore advise you to make the transfer 3-5 working days in advance.

Gas and Electricity is included up to £200 a month per property. Water, Council Tax are included and Internet is provided free of charge.

A late payment fee of £10/day applies until the day your payment reaches our account. We advise that clients set up a standing order to avoid this. Clients paying from international accounts should also take care to make their payments 3-5 working days in advance of their due date.

Yes, you can have a friend staying overnight, but only after checking with your flatmates first and then write an email to us with the guest’s name and duration of the visit which must be reasonable in order to be accepted. We want everyone in the household to feel comfortable.

We will contact you 5-6 weeks before the end of your contract to ask if you want to extend your term. One month before the contract expires we need to obtain your written notice if you want to end your contract upon expiry.

We do not have a provisory for early terminations as you have signed up for a fixed contract term. If you should you truly need to terminate the contract earlier, the responsibility of finding a suitable new occupant for your room will be on yourself. Until a new client is found, you will be liable for the monthly rental payments and the terms agreed in the contract. Once the new client is found and you have passed their details to us, we will process them as normal according to their suitability of subject to sign the contract. After the full initial payment has been received from the new client you will be released from the liabilities.

PML does not offer cleaning service as this is the household’s shared responsibility.
